Vanessa has 13 years’ generalist HR experience in NSW government and multi-national Australian organisations with roles encompassing workforce planning, recruitment, performance and rewards, as well as business analysis and employment legislation. Vanessa has a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology and Psychology double major) and a Masters of Human Resources and Industrial Management.
Commencing her HR career at Qantas, Vanessa worked in Pilot Recruitment. Continuing in the transport industry, Vanessa managed large-scale workforce plans for RailCorp’s service delivery branch. These workforce plans were instrumental in the opening of the Epping-Chatswood rail line. Following this role, Vanessa increasingly focussed on data analysis and HR technology implementation. At Cochlear, she implemented data visualisation software for HR metrics, and Hyperion forecasting for Finance and HR. For the NSW Government, Vanessa played a key role in the design and implementation of Cornerstone On Demand human capital management system
Vanessa has an enthusiasm for designing effective, functional HR processes, and building systems that support and enable those processes.
At Pinpoint HRM, Vanessa will be involved in implementation, functional consulting, optimisation and deployment of Cornerstone modules.
When not at work, Vanessa enjoys singing with Bel a cappella, playing with her two sons, spending time with family and cooking Jamie Oliver’s 30-minute-meals in less than one hour.
