She holds a Master of Information Technology (Professional Computing) from Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne. It was during her post graduate studies that Nilumi grew a passion towards ERP systems, especially SAP.
She began her career as a Technical Business Analyst in the customer communication management space and later joined IBM as a Junior Consultant in their two-year graduate program. She moved into multiple roles within the organisation starting as an Analyst supporting a $300+ million portfolio of a Fortune 500 LNG company and was later involved in numerous Test Analyst / Lead roles at Verve Energy (now merged with Synergy) and Water Corporation of Western Australia. To broaden her horizons, Nilumi then moved to the UK and joined a boutique consultancy firm offering SAP SuccessFactors cloud solutions.
