Linda has 20 years experience in project and change management working with Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Applicant Tracking and HR systems, and has seen first hand the positive changes that technology brings.
With an initial background in Learning and Development and Business Improvement, she has held leadership roles in Quality, Learning, Recruitment Operations, Project and Change Management. This experience has allowed Linda to appreciate and understand the potential variables that may present prior to and during the implementation of new processes and systems, particularly when they are integrating with other parts of the business.
Linda’s experience has been gained within the public (State and Federal) and private (Telecommunications, Health, Insurance, Not for Profit, Defence) sectors to bring bespoke and commercially available systems to life. She has managed the implementation of systems and been a National Systems Analyst to support improvements and upgrades based on end user feedback and business needs.
Over the years Linda has conducted multiple workshops to identify process gaps and system needs, developed ways to engage in a meaningful way with people and worked closely with key stakeholders to design and deliver agreed solutions. A core focus is to lead, coach and mentor people to lift operational capability that has a positive impact. This has led to creating a change approach to Talent Acquisition through the development of Recruitment Strategies to align with the overall Organisational Strategy. Looking to the future and creating a connected approach to how, where and when you recruit, has been simplified and supported through focused activity and technological advances. Each business is different and will have different goals, however a few areas that are considered as part of the strategy are identifying a branding proposition, establishing digital attraction channels, simplified regular candidate engagement, monitoring conversion success, providing a consistency of practice, welcoming new employees and retaining the best people.
Linda has demonstrated expertise in Strategy, Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, On-boarding, Retention and Capability development and is motivated to identify value adding and effective solutions that align people and business needs with system capability. When working with clients to simplify and change their business, she applies a continuous improvement and customer focus frame. She is a qualified Change Management Practitioner and Project Manager who enjoys learning and applying different tools and techniques to achieve the desired outcome.
Linda also enjoys a good book, swimming, travelling to new places, and spending time with family and friends.
